Infrared is fun! Check out Visual Cue’s artistic cameos in a “Paper Planes” green re-do featured on The Huffington Post. My name is Lorna Fear, and I own and operate Visual Cue Thermal Imaging. My background includes managing custom-home builder and escrow offices, and relocation services for high-tech companies. The common thread is helping Peninsula residents realize their dreams of beautiful, comfortable, energy efficient homes. During 2006, thermal imaging changed my life. On a quest to learn all about residential energy efficiency, I became certified in sustainable building and remodeling. During the advanced course we saw amazing images that revealed poor insulation, air gaps, structural defects, moisture intrusion, and other problems the human eye can’t see. There was no way around it — I had to buy a thermal imager! Next I became a certified infrared thermographer.
